Government of India has been committed towards empowering the
citizens, transforming the quality of lives by providing electricity to every
nook and corner of the country. It is worth underlining how the power of
electrification catapults growth and boosts a nation’s development.
With this holistic approach, ‘DeenDayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana’
for village electrification and Saubhagya – ‘Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana’
for household electrification were launched.
‘Sakshya’ mobile app has been developed for quality assurance of
DDUGJY and Saubhagya works. This App is used by quality inspectors to
monitor quality of material and quality of workmanship. The quality
inspection is done for Villages, Sus-station and Feeder works.
